The digital sign up process is made up of the following stages...
Stage 1: Application
Please let us know of any staff you need to enrol via the notification form on the home page of this website. Alternatively you may call the office on 01269 833503 or email admin.team@cymrucaretraining.com with staff details, including their contact number, email address and course level they require.
To confirm details and ensure your staff are eligible, a member of the admin team will contact them to set up an appointment and go through an interview. This usually takes around 20 minutes to complete.
Proof of their date of birth (a picture of their drivers licence, passport or birth certificate)
Proof of their address (a picture of their drivers licence or a recent utility bill)
Proof of employment (an employment letter from their employer, payslip or employment contract) - you can use the template provided for the employment letter
Certificates for their highest qualification and any maths or English qualifications they have completed previously.
** Please note that learners who are already receiving Welsh Government funding for another qualification will not be eligible for additional funding. Registered nurses (any country) are also not eligible to receive funding through the Welsh Government for levels 2 or 3. **
Stage 3: Initial Assessments on WEST
One of the requirements to receive Welsh Government funding for the HSC awards is to complete an Initial Assessment on WEST (Welsh Essential Skills Toolkit). An assessor will be assigned to support the learner through completion of these assessments.
Stage 4: Online Enrolment
Once the learner is ready to be signed up we will need to go through their online enrolment. This will be completed via Maytas Hub. Once the learner has completed their forms, employer confirmation forms will come through to their employer/manager’s Maytas Hub account to complete. This will include the learning agreement form and the learner’s individual learning plan (ILP). We are unable to sign a learner up until all forms have been completed.
